Clubs & Activities

Students participate in, lead, and even create school clubs based on their unique interests and talents. Our ever changing list of dozens of clubs and activities across campus offer students abundant opportunities to explore their passions and discover new ones, and connect and have fun with peers and faculty who share similar interests. Below you will find our clubs and more information about each.

  • Adviser: Jessica Rinaman

    ​Beta club is a group of students with common goals such as community service and academic excellence. To be eligible for this club, you must have a GPA of 3.75 and be in 10th,11th, or 12th grade. Students must attend meetings, keep their GPA above 3.75, and complete hours of community service each year.  

     

  • Adviser: Allison Andrews

    The Drama Club is for any student in the school who has an interest in Theatre Arts. In this club, we act, play theatre games, and promote the love of theatre.

  • Adviser:

    The Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) help students and teachers focus on issues such as parenting, family issues, substance abuse, peer pressure, sustainability, nutrition and fitness, and career preparation.

    The Key Club is a student-led organization whose goal is to encourage leadership through serving others.

    The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) recognizes and involves students who demonstrate outstanding ability and interests in Arts. NAHS promotes high standards in art, character, and service. Students participating in NAHS use artistic talents to serve and promote the visual arts in our school and community.  

  • Advisers: Marcia Foster, Heather Huffman, and Holly Little

    The fellowship of Christian Athletes is a club that allows any student to come and worship Christ. The meeting will occur once a week. Please reach out to a club advisor for time and location. The goal is to grow a relationship with Christ and have a positive impact on the school and community.

    ​​The Future Farmers of America provides members with more than just a club- it provides a family both in school and beyond. It provides opportunities to make memories through competition, leadership development, community service, and traveling across the country. The pride and tradition within our school organization is tangible and is a connection that extends far beyond the classroom or high school.

    The ITS is an honor society for high school theatre students. It is a division of the Educational Theatre Association.  

     

  • ​Advisers: Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Bryan Green and SGT Matthew Wheeler

    JROTC: The Army JROTC program provides more than just a class. The curriculum includes lessons in leadership, health, wellness, physical fitness, first aid, geography, government, and communication.

    JROTC Drill Team: The Bandys High School JROTC Drill Team provides opportunities to learn precision  and exhibition in military drill.

  • Adviser: Dawn Bradley and Allie Scaggs

    The Pep Club is a group of students who are dedicated to attending and cheering for Bandys athletics and making sure school spirit stays high. 

  • Advisers: Victoria Lee and Jessica Rinaman

    The prom committee is made up of juniors and seniors who meet to decide the prom theme, props and decorations. The prom is held in the spring of the school year.

  • Adviser: Nicki Brittain

    ​The SGA gives students the opportunity to help out around the school. The SGA plans pep rallies, dances, and also decorates the school for special events. They serve as a liaison between the administration and the students.

  • Adviser: Holly Little

    Varsity Green is a service organization that promotes the skills and talent of athletes off the playing field or court. The members must have lettered in a varsity sport. The main objective is to serve others.

  • Advisers: Allison Keisler and Nickey Horner

    The Tri-M club opens up a world of opportunities for students who have already shown themselves to be academically capable and musically gifted. Through performance and community service, they’ll develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills sure to serve them well in school and beyond.
