Happy Holidays from the Education Foundation - Catawba County Schools

Message from our Executive Director....

As we enter this joyful holiday season, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all Catawba County Schools staff members and our incredible community. Your ongoing support of the Education Foundation continues to make a meaningful difference for our students, teachers, and schools. I hope each of you enjoys a safe, restful, and family-centered holiday season.

This quarter has been full of excitement and impact. We were proud to award classroom mini-grants to innovative staff members and to provide scholarships supporting National Board Certification, advanced degrees, and other professional learning opportunities. These investments directly strengthen the foundation of excellence in our school system.

Looking ahead, we are thrilled for our Holly Jolly 50/50 Raffle happening in December—one lucky staff or community member will receive 50% of the proceeds on December 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. We’re also gearing up for our Pickleball Tournament on January 24, 2026 at the Hickory Metro and Convention Center, and we can’t wait to see everyone there.

Merry Christmas from the Education Foundation!

DeAnna Finger, Executive Director
